Background in Horticulture
I have had a passion for nature since I was a young boy with happy memories of playing in my family garden and enjoying all the benefits of being outdoors. After working in management for 15 years, I retrained in the area of horticulture and garden design and combined my love for the outdoors with strengths in design and construction. In 2020 I graduated from Nottingham Trent University with Distinction. Taking planting inspiration from renowned garden designers such as Piet Oudolf and becoming a pre-registered member of The Society of Gardens Designers, I have been working on private and commercial design projects across the UK.
Based in a small village in Derbyshire, most of my work is in and around the East Midlands, but with the advances in technology and life after Covid, projects have been commissioned across the country. I like to work closely with my clients, having a clear understanding of their garden aspirations and goals.
Right plant,right place...

It is difficult to build a successful garden without understanding the components that need to come together harmoniously to make one. Selecting the right plant for the right place, hard landscaping materials that will connect and contrast with existing structures and encouraging a biodiverse garden, overflowing with life. These are the principles on which all of our gardens are based on.
